I am so angry right now. I submitted the top half of my Walgreens receipt on Monday that clearly showed I bought two bags of the 10.2oz Butterfingers for $4.99 each and today they rejected it and told me to submit a new picture.

Is the RFN# and bar code required? That is the only reason I can think that it was rejected.

I don't think the codes are required if Butterfingers shows clearly on the receipt. (Mine was CVS and went fine.) Was the date and time of purchase visible?

Finally received the code today early this morning. Took almost 3 days which of course is in time frame given.

Yes. Date, time, store name, store address, product name and code, quantity, price, etc.

Mine was rejected this morning I spent $6.56 picture was proper file size contains all information includes the 6 butterfingers bars I the pictures. It says you may only resubmit 1 time, my picture followed all their rules and I can't force my local store to change it from being called grocery to buttfingers but others I know have been approved without it being called butterfingers on their receipt. Any clue what to do?

I followed all the rules too, and mine wasn't a generic description. Mine says, as clear as day, "Butterfinger Fun Size 10.2OZ 2 @ $4.99," totaling $9.98.

It sounds like they may have missed the 2 @ part. I would resubmit while also DMing BF on twitter to follow it through the process.

I'd contact BF too. Explain the receipt and the submitted picture and see if they can follow yours through as well, but get word from them first since your receipt doesn't clearly state the product. Alternatively if you'd rather go for another receipt, most chain drugstores like CVS, Riteaid, Walgreens, etc seem to work. Target seems to be good about listing the product as well. Amazon worked for me.

Mine said: "CHOC" and "BUTTERFINGER", on the recept and beside them had the matching UPC (listed at the bottom of 'Terms and Conditions'). If your receipt shows the UPC, shouldn't it work anyway? Another alternative is Amazon, another user in this thread posted their invoice, and it worked. I think.

I just got my code and my recipient add butterfingers and Candy on it and it worked.
