How is Ranjit supposed to get from the First to the Source? The class trainer is going to be located in one of the starting cities, most likely Gridania. It is also going to start at lvl 70, which is before we meet Ranjit in the MSQ and when he is still very much antagonistic.

There's nothing saying a class quest can't start in the Source that calls the WoL to the First. Think it's best to wait and see.

Since as you said the class starts at lvl 70 and 70-80 content is in the First.

If they involved Ranjit it would have to be between levels 80-90.

They already confirmed that the role quest system from Shadowbringers will still be in use and that they are splitting the DPS role quests into melee and ranged DPS role quests. This job will have class quests from 70-80 with generic melee DPS role quests from 80-90 and a level 90 quest to tie up the expansion; just like Dancer and Gunbreaker had class quests from 60-70 and one level 80 class quest with 70-80 role quests in-between. There will be no 80-90 class quests for it or Sage.

That's intriguing. I hope the writing is compelling for the 2 new jobs then if they will have significantly less development.
