You've never watched the credits have you? They last like an hour listing all the people that work on the game. They have obviously been hiring expansion on expansion and outsource a huge amount of development as well.

This expansion did see several cuts, and thats still worth criticizing, which every consumer has a right to do. One of the main issues with FFXIV is the lack of it as it stands, no company or game is infallable, and no company or game should be held above it.

And the credits mean nothing, they had a large team work on the 5.0 patch story and content, which was then reduced to a smaller team to work on the fureture patches.
