While I really like the glamour plates, we don't have enough, and we could easily use another 10 or so for our current jobs and classes. Any idea when we can expect to see more of these?

I would be surprised if 6.0 doesn't change something with the glamour system. Will it be more plates, improvements to the system, changes in limitations? Hard to say, though I don't want to assume anything. We haven't really heard anything yet.
I have a glam for each class (except all crafters share one), so 15 plates is just barely enough, since DRG and NIN don't share with other classes at 80. But with two more jobs incoming, that means there isn't enough plates to cover each combat class. Not to mention the fact that I'm having to go full Marie Kondo on my glamout dresser every month, so more dresser space (or a "discovery" system like Diablo 3 or WoW have) would be awesome.
If we had a plate per job then a general glam for DoH and DoL, that'd require 20 plates. That means you can't dedicate a plate to specific glams like a swimsuit, holiday, formal attire, or something else that'd you'd use frequently enough that you'd want it stored an available. I could see us needing about 25 plates right now so each job has it's own plate, which also gives you several additional plates for other stuff (like RP or seasonal glams).
I'd be fine with a glamour system change so that I either get a giant checklist of gear that I've got to run old instances to fill in and/or craft to complete, as that would make the most sense in FFXIV and would also give more churn to the older instance that are largely being ignored outside of the random rou these days.
