Endgame content and former-endgame content should absolutely not be in a non-mentor roulette. The extremes and savages have unignorable mechanics with non-optional choreography to handle them, and the tightness of the choreography will probably only get tighter with the coming stat squish that will flatten the power curve between min and max iLv.

Extremes are in DR:Mentor, and the most responsible thing a mentor can do when they get an extreme trial in DR:Mentor is to say "This is an extreme trial, which means it has unignorable mechanics and non-optional choreography to handle those mechanics. You should use /partyfinder to gather people for this content, even if (especially if) you want to do it syncked so that you can be sure everyone is aware of the required choreography."

Putting extremes in more roulettes, and putting savages in a roulette at all, is asking for a bad time. Especially if the roulette would be open to non-mentors.

Yeah I know right.. we can't even get mentors to try an clear the EX trails they get into with the roulette they signed up for.. there's no way they'd do savage...

But all seriousness mentors should at least give the EXs a try with thr group.. they wanted to do it that way and the least the mentor can do is try for a few pulls and if it ain't working eat the timer and not sandbag or beg to be kicked..

I'm not a combat mentor but I've stuck around in these Exs like thordin titan ifirit and more with mentors afking to be kicked while we actually clear the fight after just a few wipes..

They still need to explain what extreme trials entail and encourage people to use /partyfinder for them.
