1: There's nothing about something being easy that means it has a place.
2: You don't have to click a placard to get an apartment, unless things have changed *drastically* since I walked up to the caretaker at the topmast next to my FC's house and bought one with zero fuss.
3: What's to say I don't spend a good portion of my time crafting? If you checked my lodestone profile for even a moment you'd see that I'm 80 across the board for DoH and DoL, and I can tell you right now that I'm fully pentamelded on all of my crafters, and I supply my static with raid food and tinctures.

Then what are you complaining about? Other than trying to troll me and failing? I don't care about decorating, so why should I want an apartment in FF14? If I did, I'd work on my real life house instead of playing FF14.

And why should I check your profile, instead of only responding to what you say in this forum? Isn't it clear that I figured it out from what you've said here alone?

No content that serves as a near-universal negative play experience has a right to exist, regardless of whether it's difficult or not.

I've never met someone who enjoys Aurum Vale, or the hours of mindless fetch quests that don't even have relevant dialogue, or any of the multitude of other things that are generally unenjoyable.

As for why you should check my profile, it's because you've made a couple of assumptions over the course of this thread that would be obviously incorrect with even a cursory glance at what I've accomplished in this game.

I'll admit to no small amount of confusion regarding why exactly you chose to respond so vigorously to my original comment, as I was effectively agreeing with you from the start.
I was responding to the person who responded to your OP what they would classify as essential.

I have extremely fond memories of learning how to best use the Bard AoE abilities during a run through Aurum Vale with the leader of my FC back in the Heavensward era. I enjoy running through it still. So, now you've met someone.

Aurum Vale is a big meme in my FC ever since we tried to run through it without ever eating the fruit. And oh man the atmosphere of that place, those cramped overgrown tunnels with morbol coming at you still spooks me.
We have more fun with it than 90% of what a levelling roulette can give us.

I like Aurum Vale if I don't get queued with a whm. For some reason I only ever get cure 1-spammers or whm's who cast ever like... 1 minute, a single cure 1, and then just stand there.

I love Aurum Vale. It is the first dungeon that actually requires some skill from the whole party when running it at correct level.
