I find it so weird that they thought "This is about the hair, and the unique hair only." They must have planned around these styles being versatile with many different looks. What looks do little plastic, yellow flowers fit, SE??

Flowers are there for the viera forest/nature theme, I assume.

Which is odd to me since the Veena appear to be the FFXIV version of Feol Viera, who were Viera that lived in a volcano. The jungle thing was actually started with Fran’s tribe in XII, with Tactics Advance original Viera not having that theme at all.

Yeah, but the Veena also live in the forest so in that sense it fits I suppose.

Maybe our new hairstyles will be the same ones we already have but without flowers.

I have a shopping list from back when Viera were announced. Outside of the long ponytail (sort of) I was kind of left wanting over some of my favourite vintage dos

Oooooooh my goodness the short ponytail is so cute, all of them are cute!! If they want to stick with Viera lore so bad, these would be perfect to draw from. I just love the metal accessories on these.

Oh!!! So we would get 8 hair styles, with and without bangs with and without flow--heeeyyyy wait....a minute


Just give us modular hair- not even full styles...just components and you pick and chose those instead of a full hair styles. that way its still unique to Viera and Hrothgar and it falls under customization. And add more options- and more categories. Bangs, sides, face frame, back... sort of like the old candybar doll makers from way back in the day....

I’m not a big fan of the flowers on the hair, myself. I would rather have metal accessories than dainty little flowers.
