There is a way for that, theres a tool than can preview all glamour/items ingame. If you doing it just for cosmetics i would highly recommend looking for that tool and trying it out. In best cast it can save you hours of gameplay.
Just don't do Bozja.
You don't actually need the relic for anything; and glowy weapons tend to be extremely ugly.
Plus - if enough people don't do Bozja, SE will see it, and maybe actually give us the *good* ARR/HW relic paths back in Endwalker. For real, this time.
I usually enjoy making relics, but gave up on Bozja weeks ago. 15 DR? no thanks. Endless POTD? I actually like POTD, always have, but have soloed from 1 to 100 twice and got .... drum roll please.... ONE artifact. So no thanks.
Hopefully they will make DR like CLL ... 3 x 5 and you're done. OR get some fates into the mix. OR just do something about the putrid POTD drop rate. OR all of the above.
Didn't Yoshi-p just say theres like 50% participation rate in Bozja content? It's not looking good for future grind/"relic" weapons lol
Eureka and Boajz are pretty cool. Sorry but they're a lot better than the HW relic path. Getting special content designed for relic which is a heck of a lot better then running the same old tired content we had to do for the previous relics.
I think it would be cool when they would add an option add the end of each expansion where you could buy the Relic Glamours just for Gil. Each weapon has several steps and several styles depending on the stage. So how about we add a vendor where for example the non shiny variant of a step costs 1 mil and the shiny variant cost 2 or 3. We could also add an option that the purchased glamour's can be stored in the Armory to save some space in the Dresser.
I'd rather have a variety of ways to progress than only one way to progress. Particularly if that one way is basically just a zone with fates in it or some HP bloated bosses for the leet challenge of staying awake.
If they're going to stick with "special" zones with fates in them they might as well just have us do fates in the overworld since at the end of the day you're still just grinding fates.
They gave people a way to do some content outside of zone. The fact of the matter is many people complained running old content isn't what they wanted to do so guess what they made special relic content. Is that going to appease everyone no but for many of us it's a refreshing change and I hope they continue to do it.I'd rather have a variety of ways to progress than only one way to progress. Personally I think it should all be done in zone like Eureka but they gave some the chance to do it outside for at least part of the content.
I agree that the whole idea of eureka and bozjha is awful. I hate having to go into a open area and just mindlessly grind out boring fates to then join a big fate to then go right back to smaller fates. I still want hard solo content like with the first step we did fighting the emperor in kids mind.
What I really want is for SE to give us a mage tower like instance (solo) where our skill with the job is what gives us the part we need to add to the relic.
While that is true, there is something to be said about making passive progress on your relic for people who either focus on other aspects of the game or have limited time to play. Just like how tomestones are something that you just get for playing content, I felt the HW relic was similarly passive to an extent.
