I believe Bozja popularity went beyond their expectation (which is why we have Duel problems).
They have many lessons to remember such as the coins, the upgradable gear.
Gameplay wise they completely learned from Eureka, mount at the beginning, avoidable random monster on the map, being immortal with smart uses of resources.
Critical engagement are fun, to discover and to redo, to a certain limit.
I really hope EW relic will continue onto the "We remake the same thing but with what we learned previously". I mean, anyone enjoyed running the same dungeon for nearly 100 runs for a relic step?

Is that Bozja itself or their completion numbers on relics? Bozja is not a bad idea on its own. If it's Bozja itself, then maybe that will let them see that they can let these zones stand on their own if they just make them engaging enough to interact with. Then they won't have to artificially prop them up by tying the casual endgame weapon to them.

They sort of forced anyone wishing to complete a relic into Bozja so I think the numbers are...questionable when it comes to whether the player base actually enjoyed it or not. This was their way to inflate the numbers and say "See? They love it!". Just about every MMO does this to some degree though, as dirty of a tactic as it may be sometimes. Heavy traffic = success = more content like it. That's just the way it goes.Is that Bozja itself or their completion numbers on relics? Bozja is not a bad idea on its own. I usually enjoy making relics, but gave up on Bozja weeks ago. 15 DR? no thanks. Endless POTD? I actually like POTD, always have, but have soloed from 1 to 100 twice and got .... drum roll please.... ONE artifact. So no thanks.
Hopefully they will make DR like CLL ... 3 x 5 and you're done. OR get some fates into the mix. OR just do something about the putrid POTD drop rate. OR all of the above.

I think it would be cool when they would add an option add the end of each expansion where you could buy the Relic Glamours just for Gil. Each weapon has several steps and several styles depending on the stage. So how about we add a vendor where for example the non shiny variant of a step costs 1 mil and the shiny variant cost 2 or 3. We could also add an option that the purchased glamour's can be stored in the Armory to save some space in the Dresser.

I agree that the whole idea of eureka and bozjha is awful. I hate having to go into a open area and just mindlessly grind out boring fates to then join a big fate to then go right back to smaller fates. I still want hard solo content like with the first step we did fighting the emperor in kids mind.
What I really want is for SE to give us a mage tower like instance (solo) where our skill with the job is what gives us the part we need to add to the relic.

I like that idea, a solo like POTD/HH for relic. The relic is supposed to be something you can solo (or at least just hop on DF for). If people had time to arrange the equivalent of raid groups, well they'd be doing those weapons instead.
It does give me an idea about the POTD part for the current relic though, which is have the items purchased with aether like the aetherpol pieces. Getting the aether is a bit random, sure, but nothing like the awful drop-rate a solo person can expect in POTD.

I still feel that they need to make the relic drop 100% at floor 100, that way it is a similar time investment to DR with the same reward.I like that idea, a solo like POTD/HH for relic. The Relic weapon questlines have always been their own special kind of a pain-in-the-butt. Just remember the ARR Relic weapon questlines had the Titan Hardmode roadblock; which at the time, was really frick'n hard for a lot of people.
Titan was so problematic for a good portion of the community that competitive raiding Guilds like PainTrain would do paid-runs so people could get their Relic quest done. While there were a few other guilds like Celestial that would do free runs on the weekends.
If I had to choose the past or the future of how Relic's are done, I'd go with Bonzja and Eureka all the way.
