What's the real reason you don't add Modern Aesthetic to Viera?

Yeah i think the reasoning why people play new races at first is because bingo: They are new and shiny and everyone wants to try them.
So i'd rather assume that most people who want to play Viera already play them.

Quite likely that is the answer. I did go Viera for about a month around Halloween back in 2019, but I missed and love my Au Ra so much that I just had to switch back...and never will change again(aside from hair, and possibly eye - though I am reluctant to use a Fantasia just for this, colour)

For me it's been a bit different, i've tried Au Ra once and well i went back to Miqo after a week or so becuase i just liked it way more.
I am pretty happy with my char nowdays and don't feel the need to change anymore!

Yep.. it would have been MORE! It's the only explanation I can think off, for why they won't add modern aesthetics. The real reason.

Lack of hair options for the newer races decreases their longevity. Especially when glam is the real endgame.

And very limited selection in helmets. Which I think is ridiculous considering some helmets they missed and work fine with amazing ear clipping.

I don't buy the reasoning that they won't let the bara lions and bunnygirls have more hair because they will switch when at least half of the playerbase is a catgirl.

The base races and Au Ra just have overall more cosmetic options.

I dunno why they don't just implement Ear armor like they do for Elezen and Miqote. Looks pretty badass on them sometimes.

Horn armor for the Ronso race would be cool too.

I still think they entered in with the idea that both new races were going to get fewer options (which we were informed of) and any and all time initially allocated for that work was eaten up by covid delays.

Yeah, they always said less, but I think we were supposed to have gotten something but now, but then covid happened and I think they either shifted to just back-burning it till they've got a lot ready to ship at once or tied it into a future upgrade, like the engine or CC.

I think the one hole in your argument is the population of female miqo'te is probably 30%+

But ya please fix these two races. Limited races is dumb in a game that felt the need to flex how much money it was raking in at the same time.
