I ran the Nier raid today for a friend (did it yesterday first time) with the new chicken body, Fat Chocobo head and the Chicken Knife rapier and was probably one of the smoothest runs I've had of any raid recently somehow lol.

It was super short, but unlike most events I actually was amused. And I think I found my new RDM glamour for the foreseeable future, a gold chicken, wielding my trusty Chicken Knife. As an aside, I was waiting around for my queue to pop for Copied Factory when I had someone walk up to me, sit down in front of me and send me a /tell saying that I had "golden eggs". My only response was "I was not expecting to hear that lol". People are weird. And yes, I see the irony here.

Yeah, but I heard it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I realise I should be careful saying that as I could be walking on eggshells, but I'm no chicken.

But the immersion can be hard for some, as it can present an eggsistential crisis, but I'm sure if they can hatch ideas of how it fits into the FFXIV narrative, they'll be alright.

Only critic I have is it weird having a easter event 2-3 weeks after it. I'm sure they were delayed but if they had communnicated with us that it would be delayed until 5.5, most people who been confused why it wasn't here at end of march wouldn't been upset.
