Incorrect, you need the pentamelds just to make the items, let alone the food as well. Maxxed out my white scrip gear thinking its all i need, and even with food, I miss the control requirement by 35. You need at LEAST one pentamelded item, that costs over 500k if you're willing to pay and skip the pentameld grind, and thats only to just craft it at the minimum requirement.
