Weird lag issue started maybe a couple weeks ago

Experiencing frequent connection lag spikes. I only really notice it in dungeons/trials/raids. Don't really notice anywhere else. I've only been dpsing and tanking easy stuff lately, but I it's definitely unplayable as healer.

It's weird because my connection is actual good, resmon says my latency is around 70-80 ms. 2x ffxiv's are show in resmon though... I don't remember if that's normal. Furthermore... if I need to run something and not experience these spikes, switching to mobile hotspot on my phone works.

So that leads me to believe it's got something to do with my modem or ISP or something... but again it's only happening on FFXIV and supposedly my connection is decently fast and steady. I'm at a loss of what to do to remedy this.


EDIT: I guess I'm paying a bit more attention, but actually I do notice it outside of instances. Navigating menus can be a bit delayed sometimes. I have to wait longer before checking items on mb (more frequently getting the please wait and try again message). Seeing people teleport around while doing minicactpot (and waiting for the number to show up).

Also, I do have comcast. Can it really have to do with them?
