I say allegedly cause it sounds weird but they do have a private discord channel and it is FFXIV so not much shocks me.

Frankly, if someone is adding a voice performance, there are better avenues for that. Where they can make more, real money.

But honestly, people only really request one thing and it's that ERPers keep it on Discord and in private DMs/Private parties and out of PF/Shout Chat/Say Chat etc. Just head onto discord if needs be if you're looking for a in-game "venue" to do it.

I've been simply poking at the fact that some FC are only recruiting 18+ people for reasons I find ridiculous such as : teenagers aren't as mature/sociable/interesting as adults.

And that's why people like you get caught up with the law with some bad charges. Again, you are talking to someone who has worked with child sex offenders. Regardless of the reason why they choose to keep it an AO community there is a positive effect it shows they are trying not to engage with underage minors.

Also keep in mind something does not have to involve sex for you to get a child sex offense charge. There is a whole bunch of charges that are out there.

Trying to keep child out of adult conversations is a good thing.

I suppose it makes them feel safer to engage with someone in a place advertised for adults than one that isn't. Granted the firmest solution to that would be not engaging in a flirtatious/erotic manner at all, but human nature's a bitch. Just look at how the forums were screeching like banshees because it took them a week to get their 2B ass.

So when you have a State's Attorney charging you with a crime and you can tell them to check the logs to show you were not engaging with child and actively avoiding them that does a lot to help you out if something were to happen to you.

Adult's should be able to stay with adults and children should be separate.

Same reason why we shouldn't put 18 year old convicts in a nursing home because they use it as a halfway house for profits and bunk that person with a 79 year old man or woman with dementia. Your asking for trouble
