Unbearable server lag since yesterday

Not sure if this is helpful... it may just be coincidence that we are mostly on comcast, after all it's one of the more popular internet providers for the US. Since people from Europe have encountered this it makes me think it's not a comcast thing.

Here's my pingplotter for tonight, while lag is currently occurring right now.

Seems like to me, it is something on SE's side from those images.

Whatever it is, I just downloaded ExpressVPN and that cleared it up instantly. So that's at least 2 VPNs that clear it up. Shame that outside of free trials there's no decent free unlimited VPNs with good gaming latency that I know of.
