Reading this thread has tainted the dreams of getting a house full of plants for my bun bun. Aaaaaaah I'm happy OP managed to score a house though! It's a shame that it takes giving yourself hand cramps and arthritis in your wrist just to get a house. :C

You might not be able to get one in the near future but don't give up hope. There will be a large number of houses being added when Ishgard housing opens in 6.1 and always a chance that SE will decide to add more wards at some other time.

In the meantime, you can always get an apartment and fill it up with plants. The ratio of items to floor space is the highest for apartments/FC private chambers though small houses come close (it's bad for mediums and horrible for larges). It will give you a chance to practice decorating and coming up with designs so once you do get a house you'll be ready.
