Yes and my remark was that very clause is in there so they can ban you at their discretion- Not a simple legal backout clause like you were implying. This very thread is a prime example of the GM explicitly telling the person what they do in no uncertain terms, hence why I mentioned it- I've already seen sufficient enough of your posts to know you don't defend nor condone the behavior exhibited, but again, it was an example to highlight evidence to the contrary. Besides, as I myself have highlighted, people that took the leisure to read the Privacy Policy then would understand that they are able to do a subject access request which will highlight logs associated with the warning or suspension in question.
I think people are free to engage in it, what people do in a mutually engaged conversation is their business and thus they're at liberty to report it as and when they wish. I don't believe people shouldn't do mature venues or anything, as I do actually think they're fantastic at highlighting some of the better parts of this community. Be it for a vibe where you feel like you're surrounded by proactive conversation or just people in general- What I don't condone and what I think is mutual amongst everyone here, alongside the people enforcing the terms is that advertising does not belong in the party finder. It is something that anyone, absolutely anyone can find on a whim- Mature or otherwise, so it opens up outlets for exposure to these people which they otherwise wouldn't be if people engaged in the activity behind closed doors, be it through Discords or otherwise. Of course, you should also exercise extreme caution in these matters because the nature of the venues can be extremely consequential to peoples' lives. Again, I don't really see them as equivalent, personally. So your strong suspicion is more than likely correct.
Sure, but again this opens up more avenues for criticism as far as the clarification of that clause would go. - People would very quickly be up in arms to push their victimization whilst subsequently ignoring the facts of their report, and this would only lead to people looking for ways to bypass this measure with equally ambiguous terms, ironically as evidenced by the OP. Or even more roundabout measures, akin to what the content selling community already does by offloading the reality of the situation to their own discords. I'd rather not see people resort to this direction. Heck, I've already seen people post "Well if the issue is about the 18+ tag, then why don't we just not use that tag whatsoever." - Paraphrased -- Funny enough, the very example you highlighted here; the OP was advertising a 'Night Club' which is construed as a mature activity where potentially illicit conversations could occur. This seems to be a commonality with all the reports having been carried out thus far, so as far as I am concerned I see this as someone that didn't do 1+1. Just take it for granted that until you're clarified directly; that all forms of mature solicited advertisements on the PF are not allowed, and thus can result in a sanction. You could argue the context of the phrase "The Game is for players aged 13 and older. You agree to behave accordingly". But the fact of the matter is they're applying this universally as evidenced here.
