They are playing a semantics game since you said you do not frequent them, then said you do not one. I think they are trying to say the former is not an absolute which can you have do visit just not often and the latter is an absolute no which is you have never visited.
Just my guess though.
Oh trying to do some stupid "gotcha". Insert eye roll here. They are playing a semantics game since you said you do not frequent them, then said you do not one. I equate ERP with brothels in my brain lol. I guess they don't have to be the same. I don't go to ERP type events/venues.
What I thought too. But if they must play semantics, they're not contradictory statements. Visiting a place 0 times is still not frequent, just like 0hz is still a measurement of frequency. If they had said, "I visit infrequently" then it would be because then it would be there are large intervals between visits. They are playing a semantics game since you said you do not frequent them, then said you do not one. Never said they were playing it well. :P Though my guess they were going based off the general definition of frequent verse the absolute nature of never / do not. Since the aspect of using the word frequent maybe in their head they figured if is greater then zero or to mean at least once and then they said they do not go which implies zero. What I thought too. I could see it, I could see GM's getting a bunch of nothing reports daily. From what I gather you can report anyone for anything. The question if any action will be taken is another thing. Though yeah I could straight up see someone creating a report on something silly like that. Probably gives the GM's a good laugh.
Hell at least on Balmung, where my main is, many of the people I've seen sell ERP for gil don't use the tag at all. The same thing goes with many of their clients.
What it comes down to is that not all RPers are ERPers, and that not all ERPers are strictly RPers either. I had a friend back in ARR/HW who used to sell ERP as a service to make some extra gil and the vast majority of the people who hit her up for said services weren't RPers but rather parts of the raiding community before most of it jumped ship with the data center split. There's obviously cross over between the two camps but you can't see the RP tag and automatically assume it means that the person is willing to ERP. That's just silly.
Let me repeat it again.
It is not SE or FF14 community's responsibility to differentiate ERP from normal RP in a game not rated M.
SE has all the measurement installed to prevent themselves in trouble with any legal institution (Yes, sorry to inform you that NA is not the central of world in this game)
It is RP community's responsibility to purge ERP that dirtied their names by actively report any known ERP to the GM.
It is not FF14 community's task to differentiate that; we don't care, we are not interest and it is not our problem as rules are already in place.
Just stop wasting time to argue with us and just take action to purge ERP from your own RP community first
