Though, I think a part of the problem too is that people have realised you can make gil off of RP venues and from ERP.

You know... I've mentioned this to a few that a group selling services for adventure based RP for gil would make bank. There's a huge demand for people looking for adventure RP which doesn't cater well to massive RP events and they don't really have anyone that wants to 'run' a module so to speak.

A group that has a library of "modules" and you could bring a group and say "I'd like to hire a GM to run this one for my group", maybe a set up kind of like DnD's Adventurer's League... that's got a lot of potential both for gil making and providing a decently useful service to the community.
