RP Party finders being reported AGAIN without so much as a reason.

The problem isn’t adult talk in private and it’s not that “sexually charged” events happen it’s literally just stop using the party finder for your brothels, oh my god.

This. While everyone can banter back and forth about what is acceptable, this is essentially the crux of the issue. It's been made pretty clear that the GM's will intervene when 18+ events are put up in Party Finder and ONLY in Party Finder. So I don't know, maybe just don't put them up in Party Finder? Legitimately that's all that needs to be done based on what I'm seeing of the GM's feedback. Stick to twitter, Fellowships, discords, or the Crystal RP Calendar to market your events and call it a day. The GM's aren't saying these events are bannable in and of themselves and while I do think there is a discussion to be had about whether or not 18+ material belongs in a 13+ game, the fact of the matter is that the GM's haven't made that leap yet. Stop giving them a reason to do so if these kind of events matter to you.

Hi, I run the FFXIV RP Event Calendar (we're data center agnostic now).

Unfortunately some of the events in question attracting GM attention, we can't advertise either.

Due to some past legal reasons and not wanting the hells of properly age gating users on a discord bot based delivery platform, the calendar at ffxiv-rp.org doesn't support events that sell ERP (for gil or otherwise) or go well into the 'adult only' category. Other mature events are more than welcome though (read: sommus dens, burlesque shows, fighting clubs with described graphic violence, etc).

Just like when SBr started their advertising pushes, we'll probably see a good bit more of this again this year.

Just keep your public adverts clean, do what you will in private places, respect each other, and enjoy.

Appreciate the clarification! o7 I haven't used your services in awhile, which is why I missed the whole part about it being across all data centers) but I'm glad to see you guys are still around and doing your best to keep the calendar up and running. you guys do great work!

I guess we really ought to advertise it instead of relying on word of mouth. One of those odd 'don't want to take the spotlight away from the folks running the events' things, I guess. If you're still doing the RP thing over on Siren, feel free to spread the word. I'd love to see all the data centers get as prolific as Crystal is on roleplay.
