Possible spoilers here, warning in advance.
I've begun to think that Yoshida's shirts were intentionally misleading (beyond just "lol it's totally not-not necromancer"), and in fact are pointing to an original job for the Warrior of Light.
His first shirt, of course, was a "no comment" sweatshirt. This was assumed to just be a troll, but when you think about it "no comment" is pretty much WoL's modus operandi. His next, the Neighborhood shirt, has the skeleton saying "I'll be here if you need me" - Again, a staple of WoL. The third Children of Bodom shirt, which I think should be counted given the announcement and liveletter were conjoined events, of course features a reaper, and here's where it gets interesting.
See, WoL is really, weirdly associated with death. Sephirot says WoL wields the power of death, Elidibus calls WoL death, WoL's own psyche saysabout them. In Amh Araeng, we learn that the Warrior of Darkness - Which of course WoL becomes - Is in fact a legend about a servant of death who brings it to everyone, basically a grim reaper figure. Shadowbringer's lyrics conclude with a chorus of the coming "end", Return to Oblivion's lyrics are about souls in the cycle of eternal rebirth yearning for oblivion, To The Edge's lyrics have the lines "Only alive in fighting Death's amber embrace", and WoL's Azem memory stone is the color of amber. Endwalker and what we hear of it's theme is of course entirely centered around endings and death."Woe betide the man who stands opposed to the Weapon of Light, for death will be his reward. Death for him and his kin and all he holds dear. Woe betide the man who stands with the Weapon of Light, for death will be his reward. Death for him and his kin and all he holds dear."
With all of this in mind, I'd like to make some wild speculation. The job itself may be called Reaper or something else, but I very much think it will be tied directly to WoL's Ancient origins, the job stone may even just be the Azem stone. I'd even go as far as to suggest that it might be MSQ mandatory rather than an optional side unlock. It's one thing to just take the scythe and skeleton shirt imagery and theorize on the job from there, but given they've been pushing all of these connections for quite a while, and now it's being tied into the job, I'm led to believe there will be something somewhat unique in store for this one.
