As annoying as legitimately toxic players are, standing around and refusing to play until you're kicked isn't the way to go. Either initiate a vote-kick and see if it goes through, or take the 30 minute penalty and do something else with your time. File a report to a GM if necessary.

Don't give these players fuel for a potential report by standing around and playing the waiting game, all that does is bolster their own attitudes.

Cut to me getting atomized in Eden's Gate: Descent because people ran away from my stack. Only two people were new, so why does this keep happening months later? >_> People, plz.
Later, when someone else got the stack, (had one of the four singles, myself) it looked like everyone was gonna run off (again), but thankfully they didn't.
... Had someone chasing me with their own single though, before it finally seemed to click for them and they ran away. Good grief.

Ran into the job+story boosted tanks, 2 days in a row for trial roulette.

Yesterday the drk had no idea what to do, literally said, "I'm new, I don't know what to do." Ok that's cool, we can help you through. But after 3 wipes on titania I checked him and he wasn't kidding he was new. Only drk at 74, only other job even unlocked was war at lvl 2. So an obvious boosted character. Then when we finally downed Titania, he got the "to the dungeons 1" achievement. Which is 5 dungeons or raids...

Today get another tank, a pld this time, in titania again. We wipe on the first rounds of adds cause he is trying to tank east instead of grabbing north, and a dps immediately pops lb3 so there was no raising anyone after the loose add kills the healers. Ok cool, let's explain. So tell him to grab north and let us kill west since it doesnt really need tanked. Round 2, he turns titania toward us and wipes all but him and the other tank. Round 3 he grabs east again and has to be told to grab north, which he does, but not until it kills another healer. We get through that add phase tho just to have him turn the boss toward the party again during her cleave, wiping the party. This time half the pt just left and after checking him and seeing another boosted tank, I quit too.

If you are going to boost both the story and your first job in a game you are unfamiliar with, why on earth do it as a tank...

Cause tanks generally are the easiest role to play in this game out of the two with near instant pops.

Not gonna lie, my sleepy mind was confused here until I realised you meant Titania since Twintania is a BCoB boss, and definitely not in trial roulette.

I do wish SE set it up so a boosted character, upon first login in, is forced to go through a short tutorial. WoW has something similar for their level skips, from what I recall. No idea why SE never thought to implement the same.

Had the Deltascape v2 (forgot most mechs!) run where I got hit by more vul stacks than I should have and died once. Mentioned not remembering this much after I died, and someone helpfully chimed in with "don't die." ... I should add, everyone (including the person who said that) except one NIN was getting hit by vulstacks throughout the fight, so it wasn't just me.

Earlier in the fight, said NIN had a stack marker and was in the air for some reason when they didn't need to be, died, and said "ok wtf are yall doing". I mean, we weren't quick enough getting to you, granted, but why were you even in the air at that point? No reason to be.

Earlier in the fight, said NIN had a stack marker and was in the air for some reason when they didn't need to be, died, and said "ok wtf are yall doing". I mean, we weren't quick enough getting to you, granted, but why were you even in the air at that point? No reason to be.

That stack marker raises you off the floor automatically.
