I still firmly believe he misspoke when he said that. It would make Zero Sense for the Hrothgar, an Anthropomorphic Felidae Race to have Canine/Dog faces.
Plus they'd have to further redesign gear more to compensate for longer Muzzles.

I was under the impression that we had one already. One of the faces looks a little more canine than feline, or at least it does to me. The first time I saw it the first thing I thought of was a wolf.

I can see that he looks 'Wolfish' in the sense of how he is designed; from the choice of fur color and the outfit. Then the way the ears are made, and the longer Canines/Fangs, it all comes together to give a Wolfish Feel.
But nope, that is 100% Feline my dude. If he had a longer snout, you could argue it might be a Wolf

I'm fully aware I'm looking at a cat, but they created a face that resembles something else without deviating too much from the core design. And that is most likely all the further they would take the idea of more canine faces going forward. It'd be more work to add longer snouts which I highly doubt would happen.
