tl;dr We had a troll Dark Knight who forced a wipe in Seat of Sacrifice, wiped at Will of Defiance. They then proceeded to autorun pull the boss an additional four times before someone managed to very quickly boot this guy. Of course after that the summoner disconnected on the next pull so we wiped on Will of Defiance again. Got them replaced and "then" we cleared a trial we otherwise should have one shot.

It's like Alexander Prime limit break trolling all over again.

SoS is one of those fights I don't think they thought of what would happen when they designed the qte section.

Copied Factory is something I'll never complain about getting for Alliance roulette vs. yet another day of braindead CT, but man - some players at endgame make me question what they've been doing for the past 80 levels.

Imagine a RDM having to do the tank's job repeatedly.

Tether bombs on second boss? First one, tank doesn't gather them up, two dps get killed and my cohealer nearly dies because tank keeps running away from them trying to give him the tethers. Second time the bombs spawn, one RDM gathers them up and runs to the opposite side of the room to keep everyone else from dying because - again - tank wasn't moving to take them.

Third boss? Tank stands on a bunch of people with the buster, killing them. Adds spawn, tank doesn't have his stance on and attacks one of the other groups' add. Same RDM has to tank our add in the north.

Last boss? RDM thankfully didn't have to tank one of the... tanks, but only because the MT and other tank besides ours moved to grab them. Our tank? Still no stance on. Adds spawn while Nines charges up? Guy finally remembers tank stance and which add to grab only when it's about dead (same RDM was tanking it, again).

Please don't queue as a tank if you either don't understand the basics of your job or don't plan to actually tank for the few instances during a raid that you have to.

Good on the RDM for seeing what was going on and taking over, and on the healers for catching on and keeping them going. I hope they got most of the commendations, because they deserve them.

I just felt bad that I couldn't Benison the RDM before that second round of bomb tethers, he might have survived. ; ; Only realized what he was doing when I saw him running to the opposite side of the arena, and by then the bomb machines were running towards him. But yeah, I definitely gave him my comm at least - guy had a good sense of humor on top of it.

What is with people who refuse to read the chat and Don Mheg? This is the second time I got someone on the second boss who refused to cut the tethers so that the boss doen't gorw too big and wipe us, and the problem is that the damage was not extraordinary enough to have someone not doing the mechanic and kill the boss. I was on DRK(on my alt) my friend was on MCH along with a WHM healer (god bless them for tolerating one of the longest Don Mheg runs I ever had) and the refuse to read chat andy was the SAM. We booted the SAM(who btw disconnected after the last wipe) after the second time we wiped on that boss,an RDM replaced the SAM but disconnected and never came back in the end of that fight nd we went back to queue for the last dps. We got a replacement and thus we finished the dungeon.

Please don't queue as a tank if you either don't understand the basics of your job or don't plan to actually tank for the few instances during a raid that you have to.

It's almost as if making tanks accessible to the point of making them mindnumbingly boring doesn't actually improve the overall quality of tanks, who would've thought.

That's not really the issue in the context of their post. Bad tanks have always existed.

Of course they have, and they always will. Especially with tanks and healers because the game doesn't do their specific job mechanics for them.
