A hypothetical for Ralph: A tank hits a Roulette that syncs them down autodropping them out of tank stance, by your criteria is it wrong for the rest of the party to remind them to turn it back on?

I wish people would stop saying things like it is not needed for clearing the content. You can clear content with an afk player. Does not make it right, point is if that is the line you want to draw you open yourself up to some absurd things.
Honestly, I'm currently treading just at the point where I'm thinking they're probably just another forum troll. Several of their posts in recent week all reeks something similar, leaving no room for proper healthy discussion but mere projection. Let's just move on and stay on the topic, shall we?

Again, queued with a party of 3 with my 2 newcomer friend. As soon as the duty commences our tank dcs. Friend proposes that we just go on without one until they're back. It was funny listening to them in VC screaming and yelling as the mob aggro shifts chaotically lmao.
We managed well somehow to the point we down the first boss, then they decide they want their tank badly. Sadly that dced tank stays offline so we had to kick them (sorry!). Replacement PLD came in pretty quick and we mow the rest of the dungeon pretty smoothly![]()

Oh yeah after the other thread I figured they might be a troll but my comment is more of a general one cause people do think like that and it irks me.Honestly, I'm currently treading just at the point where I'm thinking they're probably just another forum troll. Ran Normal Raid roulette as a healer and landed in E7. One tank was new and because somehow the other tank had less HP, the new guy put his stance on.
Now I've had several E7 in the month and in some of them the tanks didn't bother to move during tank buster, killing lots. Since the guy was new, I expected the worst and positioned myself to the side.
Tank buster started casting, no sign he was going to move.
The next second, he was pulled to the side.
The next thing the tank said in chat was a "Thank You".
That tank died once since I forgot to save him to a safe spot, but he got my comm.

It's hilarious to see that reminding someone to use a basic part of their job mechanic is considered toxic by some people. If it's done with care it can be justified. I have gotten some good feedback, sometimes it's even been funny.
I still remember to my shame when I had queued into a dungeon a few months ago, had switched to my SCH, and had forgotten to summon my fairy. Wasn't until the tank politely said
"Hey healer are you sure you have your fairy out?
Oh! sure I do... must be around the corner :-}
Swiftcast Eos.....
Oops, tried not to let that happen again.
Well if this person was dead 99% of the time, not choosing a partner didn't matter anyway
yes this is nitpicky, couldn't help myself though lol
No they need to spread even there cause ppl need to learn em never the less, or else they just go "I was fine till now so it must be you!".Reminding everyone of what I said before, the inflated standards keep spreading to even lower and lower end content and I am thankful some people still have the sense opposed people like you publicly for thinking the game is a job and everyone should have your standards, in ROULETTES, next there ll be people whining about people not being optimal in praetorium...
And no one demands 99% fights but at least ress as a redmage, know how to cast, use tankstances and stuff... maybe not heal just yourself with an aoe spell or single targets with huge aoe heals... like, got an rough idea at lv 80... and while on it, care at least a tiny bit for your gear...
Yes its just a game but you dont play on your own. Thats like saying "im gonna drive on the opposite lane cause thats just my style!!" lol

It's not even demanding anything for a player to do a proper rotation. All it takes is a tiny bit of memorization, or perhaps organization on a hotbar. People playing sub-optimally are most of the time choosing to do so. Combos even light up.
