BEing offended i sliterally letting other people know you can't handle your emotions so someone else should. This is the epitome of being immature to me.

I do follow the rules, I've never been reported. That does not mean I approve of and think the rules are good and well thought out or don't think that people are too easily offended and that it would be good for such people to stop being offended so easily.

Well, you can have your opinion about it. For me, I think expecting people to choose their words carefully is a fine rule to have.

I'm more concerned with people who get offended from misinterpreting the context of an idea being communicated rather than simply about not wanting certain words to be used regardless of context.

Looks like we got another one those "you're not allowed to be offended because I'm not!" types. That's the thinking that gets people who curse regularly banned in the first place.
