We got a teaser trailer and a bunch of other information. This was basically Fanfest part 1. Heck, in the showcase description it explicitly said that it would be about the "future of FF XIV". He also switched shirts not just once, but twice. Each of them displayed a deathly looking figure. In the past he hasn't really done this on a whim. Could he be messing with us? Maybe. But I wouldn't bet money on it.

    Except the shirt I was referring too wasn't worn during the Fanfest announcement showcase, it was worn during the Live Letter. He has never used shirts at Live Letters like this before. So the odds of this being a red herring are much more likely given that anyone can google the band and see it lost their guitar player very recently and Yoshi-p could have just been a fan.

    He is a big fan of the band actually. So the tribute was definitely not so random as some people think.
