Why is the Maturity Lvl of People Playing this game so much higher than that of WoW?

GMs actually do their job on 14. The level of maturity is only surface on 14 as everyone takes their business to discord and other platforms, trust. People don't have the freedom to air their laundry like they do on WoW, where GMs are often on vacation.

On a more serious note, WoW has changed so much since WOTLK (WOTLK was so great and wow has never been the same TM).
Since then, WoW has sent the message through game design that other players are your tools rather than being other people to work with towards a goal.

FFXIV does have this design, but imo what is different is that XIV introduces another layer within its design and that is : socialization.

Because the game itself its enjoyable and very easy. Dungeons are easy, the wild world its completely safe, the learning curvature between jobs its good enough and so on.
