Spaghetti Code strikes again.It really does seem like an easy ask, even if we're just talking about more diversity in mount music and not a full scale custom music player while mounted. My only guess at this point is that there's some stupidly designed way music is handled on the back end while mounted that makes this way more difficult than it should be.

Pretty sure a dev commented on this at some point. The pool of music tracks that can play in a given zone is limited, just like everything else, because it's checking against a database in real time for hundreds of players.
You have two zone themes, the battle theme, sometimes a beast tribe theme or two, and then x amount of mount tracks. It has to check this database for every player in the zone every time their music changes.
