Unpopular Opinion: SE Is Not Obligated To Add New Jobs Every Expansion

Without a new job, you still have new max level and new AF gear and new abilities for the current jobs to play the expansion. No new job is not the same as no new expansion, or even no new tool.

Leveling the same job =/= Leveling a new job.

What makes a expansion a real one? adding new content drastically (History,maps,weapons,sets,jobs,mounts,better graphics,races,reworking or changing old content etc) by paying an additional fee to the current monthly one. Like I understand you can't have everything you wish but Devs said that they are not going to introduce new races ( sadly)and imagine if they comes saying " no more new jobs", what's next? new expansion but no new zones?.

What's next is irrelevant. Deal with each issue separately. You can still have an expansion without a new job.

They would have to be creative with FFXIV's mostly static zones to have a new expansion without a new zone, but if they revamp the zones, then they can do that.

A new expansion requires new MSQ/story/quests/battle content. Everything else is cherry on top of that cake that is the expansion, but is not the cake itself.

That's exactly the point. Even if there were no new jobs released with an expansion, you would still get new story, new level cap for the existing jobs, new zones, new dungeons (lots of them), a new round of patch content including alliances and eight-man raids... just not a new job in addition to all of that.

That's not the amount of content we get in a patch. That's an expansion, and it would still be an expansion without an additional job added to the roster.
