Anima is female (She/Her) in FFX and what that means in FFXIV

Anima will probably be a trial boss through the msq but I doubt the gender will play any part in it. Can’t see myself and Alphi discussing battle strategy in the quest before hand then discussing the gender of the giant primal I’m about to butcher before wishing me well.
It gets summoned, I got kill it. Move on to the next...oh god. Elidibus was right O_O

Absolutely nothing. Someone is just making a whole lot of assumptions about the community at large and trying to inject their personal gender politics into a situation where no one talking gender politics in the first place and then calling other ppl cringy.

What does gender have to do with anything first of all....Second of all, just because she's female in X doesnt mean she has to be so in 14. They're two completely different universes. Take leviathan for example, in some ff games its a male, in others its a female. It depends on the game. Also theres a reason she doesnt have the necklace from x in this one. Again its 14, not X. The necklace in x was a picture of seymour's mother, ofc that wouldnt be in 14. Anima seems to have a looot of model changes from its X version most notably the hands/arms.

The word Anima itself is specifically female (the female version of Animus), so yeah Anima will most likely be female if it has any gender relevance at all.
