Bring WOWs allied race mechanic to XIV

Adding some was a mistake; had they just stayed at none people would’ve given up by now.

No it wasn't a mistake and that has nothing to do with my comment about additional hairstyles for Viera and Hrothgar. Those were promised. Yoshi-p has also made numerous statements that the hear gear is a problem and that isn't something they will be able to provide.

This doesn't contradict my point however that the dev team is having problems dealing with providing content for the currently released races as illustrated with a lock of content even with new event items let alone adding new races. They have also said that Viera and Hrothgar would be the last races added to FFXIV although many are pushing for them to add the missing genders.

It's like people don't even read anymore and immediately start screaming "NO HATS" when they see Viera or Hrothgar even mentioned, even though you clearly said hairstyles in your original comment...

Right? I was about to comment that they did in fact say viera would be receiving more hair. It'll be two years since here soon. With none.

I'm honestly seriously wondering why this is supposedly such an issue. Atleast for Viera the head model isn't any more unique than Au Ra heads are compared to the vanilla races and they managed to make all headgear work just fine in Heavensward. Sure, their horns seem to be simply clipping through the helmets sometimes but would people really mind if that were the case for Viera? Headgear with some clipping is still better than no headgear at all.
