blue mage roulettes? your thoughts

If they added a BLU roulette I would actually play it. As it stands now, being a 'limited' job, there's just no purpose for it. I can't use it in normal duties, there's no relics, etc. it's just if you really like the concept or running duties over and over for a spell to uh... go use in FATEs?

You say that like it's a bad thing. Having a blue mage with the good spells significantly sped up all of the multiple fate grinding steps for my relic weapons.

I enjoy blue mage regardless, though.

They're still good for relics. Syrcus with a group of blue mages is under 10 minutes, assuming enough have a decent set of skills unlocked plus moon flute and all that.

Though castrum has other incentives now so there's maybe slightly less people blue mage grinding.

And you say that like it's more than just a single thing you can do with it. If you're not grinding for relics, then what? My point was that I can do any duty with my other jobs but unless you have a full party of blue mages to do certain things, it's really only good for FATEs. My point still stands.

What do you mean "then what?" Blue mage can do any content that any class up to lv 70 can do, except for PoTD and Eureka. Just because you can't use duty finder, and have to interact with people to set things up and have fun with it doesn't mean it's "really only good for FATES."

Have some imagination, man. Boiling the argument all the way down to "I can run all old content as many times as I want in duty finder with any other class" is really boring.
