No, it is just someone lack of common sense put word Brothel during the rise of "Wake Up" movement.
It maybe alright before but current trend is you need to be sensitive when you post something in public channel.
Not to mention his attempt to make a case when this GM already shake it off nicely for him just make making the word "stupidity" orbit around him.

I suspect other players are the one reporting to the GMs because they get upset at the idea of people Roleplaying in FFXIV.
