Nah, Alisaie and Alphy now match each other in jobs. A Sage is quite close to a Red Mage in other FF games, being able to use more magic then Red Mages at the cost of having less mp, slower and physically frail (more so then a red mage would). We don't quite know how Sage is going to work yet but I feel it'll try to match RDM, only being a healer instead.

I think while RDM fits in as a dps with some minor healing utility, SAG will similarly be a dps focused healer.
They said it can "augment its spells" which could imply some minor dps rotation.

If sage ends up being the only healer with a beefed up dps rotation, you can expect to see nearly only Sage healers come 6.0. Actual dps rotations is something healers have been crying for for a long time now.
