Yeah, basically this. Challenging content is fine. But at least make it relatively easy to set up, especially for something like this.To a degree. I imagine they want challenging content that is accessible. It takes an immense amount of time and effort to find 47 other players to do DR (Savage) with. To say nothing of the additional strain of having the correct lost actions and similar schedules.
There's a lot of people, myself included, who already struggle to find 7 other players to raid with consistently.

I'm arguing on principle, I don't do high end raiding, or ultimate. Them cutting an ultimate from EW doesn't effect me.
I don't know what those people want, I can't speak for them. I just hate to see SE once again, breaking their promise. I'm a PvPer without a home, so I play this game casually. Not even midcore, I haven't done an extreme since ShB launch.
Well, said, and an actual answer unlike my rushed response between my fragment farm right now!To a degree. I imagine they want challenging content that is accessible. Well sure, I understand that. Was mostly interested in their opinion, since they don't seem to do difficult content.
But everyone complains how static and predictable the game is. Then they change and add a thing, and suddenly boring and predictable is what we want.

This one?
Also I strongly any large number shift from private data. People as a whole, not just FFXIV, are bad with settings. If you are going into your accounts on any site to manage any sort of in-depth setting then welcome to the minority. On top of the nature that lodestone is entirely optional so you're playing minority dice twice (most people don't go to lodestone, then again most people don't fiddle faddle with privacy settings). Facebook says hi to the rest of people.
0.09% data server represent! lol XD...
Don't simply add the % of each column either, each server has a different population so the % are not the same. See the total at the bottom for active ratio (not dead accounts) who cleared = 1.22%.

Baldesion Arsenal required more people and was way worse in terms of entry for pre-formed groups. Still the people that did / still do it praise it as good content and asked for more in the future. To a degree. I imagine they want challenging content that is accessible. I think the reason that DR (savage) is lacking in popularity is because it's just a beefed up version of the normal 24man version. The setting of exploring a massive dungeon with a huge raid is kinda killed by adding the normal mode.
I personally like the idea of adding "bigger" raids, but it would need to be it's own thing like BA was, minus the entry method they used for it.

I havent used that a lot but isn't that site's "public" data based on those who sign up and not a census of the actual population of players?
Like I have high doubts on some of the blue mage spells are so high in their learn rate for the whole population, but I have no doubts that people who sign up for that website to track their blue mage spells have above average learn rates compared to the population.
Different site I'm thinking of. Similar presentation lol. I think the data is still wrong though if you assume it's representing the entire playerbase.
However looking at the total character numbers still seems off, like the data is not representative of the whole. Says that 90% of the binding coil achievement, that is 120780 characters. No, that's not possible lol. There are way more than 120780 players, and that can't make 90%. Just using lucky bancho's numbers there is half a mil at level cap. 120780 cannot make 90% from that.
So whatever % you're getting from lala I bet is highly inflated, and perhaps because it's only included those who participated (in the site). I struck out my first part of the post since I was thinking of a different website (that has the same issue).

Did ultimate raider complained about getting two ultimates in one expansion static and predicable? I personally dont know any.Well sure, I understand that. Was mostly interested in their opinion, since they don't seem to do difficult content.

For someone who was said to have no idea what raiders want, you definitely know a lot about what they complain.
And i wont call DR Savage a change . We got BA in eureka and it seems that people who dont like BA dislike DR Savage for similar reason.

I mean, I am a raider. But apparently I differ from them in mindset.Did ultimate raider complained about getting two ultimates in one expansion static and predicable? I personally dont know any.
