why are you complaining..... this game is a casual game with Small amounts of hardcore content. please by all means go develop your own game with ultimate content make the game have a monthly sub and only have the top 1% of all MMORPG communities join. now run that for 10 years and cater to them only. let me know how that business model runs.

Go look at twitch and compare the number.

Even with all the ffxiv streams put together, it wouldn't even come close to 1/10th of what asmongold gets. That's how much of a joke this game is compared to WoW.

So.... play WoW? I'd never heard of Asmongold until people on XIV forums and reddit started comparing him to XIV streamers.

Most people wouldn't watch XIV streams anyway. The only time ultimate's pull views is when they are world first races. No one really watches otherwise.

I certainly never watch anyone stream this game. I'm too busy, you know, playing it.

I am a hardcore raid no I actually do other things in-game other than raids but I am a mid-core raider at least. So you trying to use casual to describe me is far from the mark. All kinds make up a game community and that what makes a game great. If a game only focuses on one of them the game would die. If you and the OP don't like the fact FFXIV puts story and other things ahead of raiding then find another game. Don't sit here and try to make the game into a game that is already out there.
