Putting out a gentle suggestion to, at the very least, reconsider some these descriptions that keep popping up in discussion.

If someone calls a man a "woman", you imagine he would get upset in most cases, considering childhood taunts like, "You [verb] like a girl!" So it stands to reason, that repeatedly calling female roegadyn "men" would upset some folks. Because women come in all shapes and sizes, and femininity is a complex matter, that isn't defined by the presence or absence of muscle and body fat, etc. Even if you don't care for the build, the female athletes that femroes are (tamely) based on are still women.

Anyway, again, my expectations are in the dirt! It's not even that I want female hrothgar to have a super-duper buff build, I just think it would be nice if more women were allowed to have non-barbie shaped bodies.

Like this image of the queen here! She's got hints of a cute shape that I'd support.

A very weighty shape indeed especially with the puffed lips and rounded mid and chest to compensate if they won't have a barrel/triangle waist.
I forgot about this one in the past either because it slipped my mind when the newer one appeared or it looked just right to me in the first place. The ears and lowered head give much better definition for a animal head and her neck and body are much bigger than what we get in the female races, almost close to Hrothgars neck ratio. This is a really interesting find. Now I'm thinking what if Female Hrothgars just had a bit more weight than muscle ala Pam from Archer or Zhang leader in Avatar The Last Airbender.

    Now...
Player population stitched up as diversity is unreasonable since we can't accurately pin-point how many are actual individual/new players or alts without giving odd restrictions while bot scanning players. The game incentivizes playing on one character which can support that Femroes are played even less. However, the community claims Femroe was poorly executed just like Elezen and the formers male counterpart. Not because a buff/tall body is inherently bad or is the sole cause impacting its illusionary player population. Its because of the proportions, face, voices, emotes and stretched textures and gear mapping. Besides, thanks to hindsight. Femhroth is inherently going to be played less just like males because of the Hrothgar/Viera stigma of hair/headgear(even if its removed in future gear/hairstyles) while Furries=weebs biggest predator.

Seeing is believing. I wont settle for a pretty mural, I need to actually see them in game, animated.

And, if the Mural is in fact the design they are going for, then Im not gonna be a happy camper. Because I see a human face with thick lips. They won't look like beastmen, just Miqote with big mouths. Not what I want out of a female beastmen, it is the one thing they can do to ruin it altogether; the Beauty and the Beast trope that the Males are Monsterous, Beastly and "Ugly". While the Females are "Pretty", soft, delicate and small.

As much as I harp on how much I want a tall and strong female body for them...it honestly wont be the end of the world. I can settle, so long as they look good and cool.
But if they dont look good, and humanish, then I will have an issue. Not like Im gonna threaten to cancel my sub and anything dumb and childish like that, but I would be reasonably very upset.

I mean, don't get me wrong: I'm referring to the specific mural I did as a suggestion for body shape. I do see the lips on all the mural art and also extremely don't like it! Like, believe me, I share that exhaustion about how women in various fantasy races are rarely allowed to be too removed from a human appearance.

Plus, it would be incredibly foolish to half-bake a beastly race, because I just don't know who they'd be trying to appeal to at that point?? I can't imagine a flat, fuzzy human face is going to get money from either furries or most people in general. He who chases two rabbits loses both, and all.

What I wouldn't mind seeing is a middle ground. Cause lions do have lips under there. If they were to make the lower lip slightly more visible while keeping the upper muzzle and rough lion jaw shape, it wouldn't be too bad.

You have just described exactly what happened with the unholy abomination that was the Cats movie. When even furries went like "Nah", you screwed up.

Just, literally whats the point of making a beast race if both males and females arn't gonna be..yknow, beastly?
Like you said, who is the target audience, who are you trying to bring in with the female side of it if they are pretty much Miqote 2.0? That face is more unattractive then a muscular body on a female, and would drive away interest more then a strong female body.

Make them beast lips (ew, outloud and in my head that just sounds wrong XD) like a real lion and give them the lion face just like the males then you might have me.
But if its a human face with thick lips and some cat ears, then you lost me, Im looking the other way

Exactly this. If that Mural is how a few people claim them to look possibly, then they screwed up.

I’m fully on board with them literally styling them like a lioness. Maybe a bit sleeker than the male Hrothgar while still retaining muscle and power. Just like a lioness compared to a lion.

Please also understand that a mural is only able to capture a bit of reality, when it comes to art - especially one so stylized, and primarily using simple shapes to make up the forms.

It would be easier to guesstimate what a female hrothgar would look like from the mural if we had seen a male rendered such in a similar fashion, but while we do have the single female roe - it's not in the same case here. I agree with Zanarkand-Ronso, because an actual model is always more accurate than a stylized, simplified artform.
