I'm not opposed to more options, but I don't see how this is a "game changer", since certain combos allow for disappearing sleeves already. The idea isn't bad by any means though, don't misunderstand.

While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.

Yeah, its mostly just a silly title. However, I've been wanting an item like this for a long time; one without the tribal paint and gloves of the Quitana Ravel set (which only Casters and Healers can use.) I think it grants a lot of options for cool glamours for how simple it would be to make.

I want SO many options for sleeve-altering pieces.

"Certain combos" is the thing right now. If you're class X at level Y, you get one item that gives you a single asymmetric short sleeve effect, or the long flared sleeves of the Torrent set, or the short sleeves and gloves of the Ravel mages.

What they really need to do is take that kind of idea and make them into level 1 glamours that are accessible to everyone for any class.

The easiest way would be to incorporate hand gear into all their one-per-patch fashion glamours that usually just come with shirt, shoes and maybe pants. Add a handgear item to each of those that gives a different sleeve effect. They could even recycle models if they wanted - the Dalmascan set could have a version of the Ravel gloves; the Boulevardier set could have neat cuffs (adapted from the right half of the Eikon Leather armguards) to rein in those frilly sleeves on the shirt.

I want to have long draping sleeves like the Lv60 summoner set; gathered sleeves like the Eden's Promise mages; short sleeves with different styles of gloves attached; short puffy sleeves; long close-fitting sleeves like Lv80 dancer or the Makai Moon Guide mixing tight sleeves with short halfgloves over the top.

Being able to put a free choice of sleeves onto any chest piece would be excellent.

As far as I'm aware, the only items that remove sleeves are the caster gloves from Qitana Ravel and the PvP gloves you can buy with wolf marks.

There's also a ranged dps glove that removes a sleeve but that doesn't really count in this case.

There's also the healer gloves from Qitana Ravel, the level 80 AST gloves (though they add some sort of vambraces and other bits), and the Eikon Leather Armguards of Casting/Maiming/Striking give an asymmetrical sleeve removal.

So basically only magic classes get items that remove sleeves barring the ugly half sleeve removals.

I'd happily go to hell and back for an item that removes both sleeves that isn't for a caster or healer class

There are many gloves that remove a smaller portion of the sleeves as well.
Also, on the Rathalos chest piece, the pauldrons are coded as part of the sleeve, so some gloves actually remove the pauldrons, despite being nowhere near them.
