After that hours of hours of another dungeon grind for a little chance (can be optained on the first try, can never be optained by rng).

    SE are you kidding me?!
To be fair, reaching Rank 10 for Castrum is not that grindy. I did it in a single day with my first character, and two days with my second. It even was fun. That is for unlocking the new raid to farm for the hairstyle, at least. Doing the relic quests will be grindy, as with any other relic.

Nah, you get to actually learn your rotation, logos allow for some sweet horizontal progression and there are tons of things to do or work towards if you want to use your brain and time to it's fullest.

If all you want to do is mindlessly run from fate to fate with drool dripping from your mouth as you ignore logos, the tons of people in chat and everything around you so that you can spam an AOE and get credit that is an OPTION and a choice, but it doesn't mean that the content is mindless or that the leveling process has to be mindless.

I got everything to 80 through Bozja and never felt bored. But then again, I'm the type of person who will look for people to rez in a CE to work towards the Guardian Angel title, fill out the lore book or try using logos on different things and find out that wow, you can reflect tons of things in fates and CE and even the 2nd boss in CLL.

It doesn't force you to use the tools to their fullest in the reg zone, but it's a far faaar cry from the likes of PoTD or HoH where everyone runs the same 10 levels until they cry tears of blood.

But I don't find myself, quote, wanting to blow my brains out, when i do PotD/HoH.

If I wanted to learn my rotation, I would do to a striking dummy. Much better as far as developing muscle memory goes.
"It's only better if you want to rot your brain as you slap paper mobs"

Like I said, if you're ok with turning off your brain then "Kill paper mobs, go to portal, repeat" is going to be better if that's all you want to do.

Also, Bozja gives you your level 80 rotation and HAS striking dummies in there for you to practice on in the base as you're in the zone. So if you want to actually make use of your leveling time to get to know your rotation you can just go in there and in your downtime fight the striking dummy with your full list of lvl80 skills.

Also you contradict yourself a bit there? "It's not a better method to level because things die too fast." ???? So taking less time in PotD/HoH to level makes it worse than Bozja?
    I don't think you understand.
"Things die too fast" means that you can't use your proper rotation because they're just fodder.

The AMOUNT of EXP you get from fates and CEs is insanely good for the amount of time invested because it was designed to be the PoTD/ HoH of ShB. Given that it's a fate system instead of floors you can find yourself getting levels far faster than you would in HoH if you "use your brain" and employ fate credit tricks to optimize your time (Like fates that require you to collect items and hand them in. Collect 6 and it will give you gold credit ... so just turn in 6 and run to another fate as everyone does their turn ins. But of course this is RNG as you can't know when every fate will pop and people can bet it before you get there. Over all Bozja has the same level growth rate as HoH on arvg)

It's all personal taste. I find lore, new content and getting to actually practice my rotation as I level a job to be a much more pleasing and engaging time than the likes of HoH and PoTD which only become engaging at the hard levels or in solo runs.

    4 runs here, 2 hairstyle drops --> 50 mil.
    Your mileage may vary

    Definitely lucky.

In my 26 runs I have gotten The Sochen Cave Palace orchestrion roll(once), 2x Gunner miniature, 2x Warrior miniature, and field notes/silver coins. That's it, that's all. I'm sure I will get everything else I'm missing in the remaining runs for all the relics...but the drop rates definitely feel way too low. Almost like they are less than 1% chance, at least for me.

Several things strike me as odd in regard to Delubrum drops, personally. I am running it twice a day, with little hope of getting the hair (the only thing from there I am interested in), and so far I have seen nothing (in fact I found out by reading this thread that there is also a barding, a gabriel mount and some music rolls, aside from the figurines of the queen warriors). But I don't expect them to change their drop rates... So far, i have never seen them doing that, correct me if I am wrong. I do find weird that they are taking so long for a hotfix for Castrum, which i think is urgent. I also find weird that we cannot preview tradable hairstyles (and mog station items) like we can preview tradable gear... Even f2p games allow you to do that. If I got tired of running Delubrum and still no hair, which is very likely, there is no way that I would want to spend 12, 15 or 20 million gil on something that might not even fit my character. I don't know. I am not enjoying these kind of decisions and omissions, that seem to have multiplied with the implementation of Bozja. a
And let's not talk about magicked prism... I flooded the Doman donation box with literally hundreds of them... That's all I ever get, interspersed with some useless materia. But at the end of the day, we are just expressing our personal opinions and that's about it. Even if many of us suggested that the hair got linked to a certain number of runs achievement, I
don't think they would listen, not in this case.

I ran Delebrum for the first time last night and, on top of feeling like it went on several bosses longer than it needed to, the rewards are demotivating.

Because rewards are individual you don't even see things drop. It's just "you got a coin!" "You got another coin!" "You got three coins!"

And what are the coins for? Trading for bigger coins to trade for gear that needs a whole lot of re-running content to finally, eventually be able to run that same content just a little more efficiently. And possibly for dyeable glamour, but there are extents I'm not even willing to go for that.

    ---

The whole business with RNG is frustrating because it makes some people a lot richer and some a lot poorer based on luck.

Compare a style that takes effort to earn but is guaranteed, like the Wind Caller style. One person chooses to put in that fixed amount of effort to earn the coins, and either buy it for themself or someone pays them for that work. It's still an annoying hoop to be put through, but since it exists, it's fair. The person who put in the work is the one who gets paid for it.

RNG, on the other hand, means one person can obtain the style on their first run, while another tries many, many times and comes away with nothing - and because the odds don't shorten after each attempt, they're no closer to acquiring it than when they started. They get nothing for their hard work, while the other lucky person gets a phenomenal amount of gil for minimal effort.

This is an issue as well. I am interested in trying the hair on my various characters but there's a relatively low chance that it will look good on them, and it's not a chance I'm willing to pay 12 million gil just for curiosity. I don't think any of my alts even have that much money.

Likewise for other styles that can't be traded but need a considerable amount of time and gameplay investment, like the PVP styles. I'm not doing that many matches just to test something out and probably abandon it, but if I could try it on first then it would convince me to put in that effort.

And there's an annoying tendency in recent patches towards putting gear in coffers so it can't be tried on, like the Hraesvelgr set and the dyeable Lv80 relic gear.
