Stereotyping much? lol. Especially considering you just admitted not knowing anyone who fits this demographic.
Like I said, in this expansion, there has been a significant amount of content delayed or simply not implemented (over a variety of categories). And the expansion is expected to extend for a longer period than usual. So in that sense, no, there isn't much other content worth sticking around for. And make no mistake. I and others like me won't stick around and will not lose our houses. No matter what. So your dreams and aspirations are going to fall short. This isn't about allowing us to keep our houses as much as it is making a gesture to make the process less tedious/costly (I'd settle for either). Temporarily and exceptionally, might I add.
Again, like I said previously, I'm looking to wrap the current content up within the next couple of months. That includes the BLU content I'm currently on, new Bozja content, and the couple of extreme mounts I'm missing.
And although I can't speak for everyone, I'm going to make the educated assumption that "hardcore combat" players don't care for relic stats much outside of niche cases. And certainly don't care for them on expansion releases where they'll be replaced within 2 days.
Relic weapons and gear are mainly for glam, and for gearing whichever alt classes are lagging behind. (Plus inv space is a rare commodity). I will grab the ones I like when I come back ahead of the expansion release, which is when I plan to tie loose ends (missing mounts, story quests, relics, bozja zones. etc.). As will many, I'm sure.
Well, you've made your position clear quite a while ago. It's fortunate for me that you don't work for SE now isn't it? Hopefully, their customer service will be a little more considerate than you are.
I've been subscribed for over 4 years now on this account, I've never taken a hiatus. I am planning on taking one exceptionally, given the slow expansion. That's all there is to it. And yes I don't think I should lose something I've used so extensively over the past however many years and plan on keep using in the future, all for a 3-4 month hiatus due to exceptional circumstances. I'll subscribe every other month and visit my house if I have to. But I think it would be a nice gesture if SE could come up with a temporary quality of life improvement until the expansion hits. Simple as that.
Of course there's a risk. I'm not attached to this idea per se. I'm open to other suggestions. I just think it would be good practice. Whether or not it's something they would consider is up to them. I'm just posting here to offer my perspective and hope that some eyes look at this and at least consider something of the sorts.
