Oh excuse me I didn't realize you were in the same room as developers when they develop stuff. Have a wonderful life dude. Also I'm far from a casual player. I savage raid, I crafted, I cleared BA, and I'm doing UwU with my static, I have a total of 379 days, 9 hours on my character. Have cleared every major savage tier for the last 3 years now and do everything that this game offers in content. I'm far from casual. I just have empathy towards those who work hard to provide what I think a great product. You don't know how covid hit the dev team or the long hours they work to provide entitled ppl like you something. If you not happy unsub or continue to yell into the void that is the internet. I understand how hard it is to code on a major project and be under tight deadlines, guess what it's not fun and it's very stressful. Seems like your mindset is that of "flavor of the month" gaming. Never staying anywhere for long as soon as things dont go your way. That's the impression you give.


I've spent enough time playing MMOs to not be bothered by delays. At least this game gets content updates and doesn't make half of its playable classes irrelevant in updates.

Yeah the best way to reach them is also with sensible and productive conversation/feedback, neither of which have been present for the entire thread.

The crux of this thread on nigh on all accounts can be narrowed down to "I don't like this piece of content. Therefore, it should be cut in favor of content I do enjoy, irrespective of the implications it can have". It sucks that the content was announced as delayed, but this has been for a perfectly clear and evident reason, given that the entire world is in the middle of a pandemic. Whether you can criticize or not their initial decision to delay it from 5.3 to 5.5 is something completely different, and if anything should have been the focal point of the thread. You may actually find; an inability to act appropriately and not throw around casual like it is meant to be an insult will only lead the thread to fall on absolute deaf ears when it gets removed. It's really not difficult to have a productive conversation, and this falls on all the whining!

Did you know, as a fun fact, it'd have been near enough 6 between the time the game last got challenging/long-term solo content, and the time the next is.

Take the L, dude. Especially when MMOs (and games in general. Cyberpunk comes to mind) have been on the market long enough to see just what kind of botched experience comes from Devs who don't cut and push back content. Bozja is for all kinds of players, even if they want to do it or not it's accessible, where Ultimate is not. They chose the content with the biggest net to keep.

Go pick up WoW or ESO for a bit. Mythic achievements and Godslayer would take your mind off there being no ultimate. Lots of new games coming out, too. ff14 is not the only game to exist, and we're in very unfortunate circumstances.

Listen you have the right to be disappointed and be pissed but don't be that person who wants things to be cut just because the the you wanted isn't coming out. The 48 man savage is for those who really enjoyed BA. BA is added to eurake and what I remember it was widely liked.

You have to remember we are still in a pandemic, there's no post covid we still in the middle of it. From what I've heard it was coming down to either delaying endwalker or pushing the ultimate back (or in your eyes cutting). As I said you free to complain, you free to bitch, you free to unsubscribe but if you post something like you did you are going to have ppl who will disagree with you. Especially how you phased this post because it does come off like a hardcore player vs casual player thing. All I can say is do your crying, get over it, then move on with your life. At the end of the day SE and dev team really don't care about this post and the small amount of upset ppl. You can't delete has been already been made and I rather have endwalker come out in the fall then content that only a small amount of players are going to do.

Yeah. From SE's stand point it was probably between delaying the Ultimate and potentially losing a few subs or delaying the expansion and losing even more from player burn out, along with delaying that massive influx of cash that expansions bring in for the company. If I were SE, it wouldn't be much of a decision to make at all. The money speaks for itself. Like you said, we're still in the thick of a pandemic. Just because SE is boasting the game's success doesn't mean that they don't need the money. Very few companies in very few industries are having a great time financially at the moment. I don't think that they should have had to make this decision, but it's not hard to understand why they did. They were also pretty honest about it. I've seen a few people comment on some platforms that they are just using Covid as a convenient excuse. I highly doubt that is the case. Any delay for any piece of content does nothing but hurt the company's profits. They don't like it any more than we do.

Well I guess that's difference between our mentalities. I personally find things that are just given to you and are easy just straight up boring. The rush of clearing something that's extremely difficult makes everything worth it. Have you seen how xenosys reacted when he cleared TEA? That was pretty much my reaction too when I first cleared TEA

The answer to this is very simple. SE prioritised the content that significantly more players would be doing. Most players don't even finish savage never mind do ultimate. Regardless of which content you prefer that's just the truth.

So I just wanted to know why people think that cutting Bozja would do anything for pushing DSU out earlier? The one guy working on DSU is needed for the new fights in 6.0. He's a 'necessary' individual for that new battle content for the expansion needs. Even if Bozja was cut right now, that wouldn't free up the ultimate designer to finish DSU, and then everyone would lose out.
