Alright, so I wanted to watch the footage a couple dozen times times or so, slow things down and really take a look at things. I saw what was likely a ST heal, ST barrier, ST attack, and an AoE attack; as well as bpose and vpose. Very, very basic demonstration, but very impressive visually for sure. Super, super Gundam inspired, which of course will make peeps like me screech like a giddy little girl.

I feel like my character went to Cid and said, "Yo Cid, I would like my hands to be free in battle to concentrate better on healing. Do you think you can develop orbital devices that help me heal that uses my aether so I can manipulate them in battle as I see fit?" I hand him over a sketch given to me by the Skysteel Manufactory, and he says sure, and when done he surprises me with a feature I didn't even ask for, smiles and then says, "Oh, I also modified them so they can fire lasers!"

Never in a million guesses would I have predicted they would use this theme for a new healer. I am not complaining, believe me. But had SE just showed just a picture of the job in its AF along with their Nouliths floating about, and told us to speculate and all will be revealed later; I think most would have guessed a ranged DPS and put a mortgage on it. "No way they would limit such a job to just a healer" would be heard without doubt.

It does make me wonder if SE is going to open offensive capability a little bit more for healers, and there is still much to see. I am going to guess to bring a pair of shades for their LB3. In any case I am excited to see more, and that's a good thing.
