And there's a difference between 'casual players can engage with this content' and 'I could probably have one of those teeter-tottering drinking birds in old cartoons play my rotation for me in here and still clear'; the latter is more likely to disappoint everyone, not just those looking for a challenge.)

((And evidently, my brain has booted into Wordy Mode today. Apologies! I shall be Quiet for a bit.))
I also think it's a pity that this tends to afflict the actual canon, main story mode content harder than anything else. Not so much the dungeons, which they seem to have given up on almost completely (even though some people still hope for something like "Mythic"/challenge mode dungeons), but the trials, where they tend to put in the more significant antagonists. I just wish it didn't have to suffer as a result of being content you "have" to do. Yes, there's ex modes, but canonically they're just the exaggerated stories of a minstrel. Kinda wish they'd revise that to either make the extremes canon (easiest fix) - maybe just a "clearer" recollection of the fight - or find a way to toss in some easy mode for people who don't want to do the trial, but that would no doubt cause problems with getting people to queue for it down the line. Tsukuyomi was one of those trials where I felt they had hit the right balance in difficulty for a significant adversary in normal mode content.

It will be run every weekend from now up until the new expansion. It’s very good and there’s rewards there. I can’t see why it would have much less participation than puppets bunker did.

I do think Castrum is a big problem and needed far more help though.

Normally I'm quick to agree, but they seem to have planned Delubrum out a bit better than most. It'll be busy for a while. The hairstyle alone will keep people coming back.

While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.

    My Feedback:

    Total Death count: 10
    Total Mettle lost: 28,720

Went into Delubum Reginae for the first time as a complete newb.

    1) Every mechanic failed equals death. Death has severe consequences, doubly so. You get the downed debuff and lose mettle. This is bad design.

    2) Six Boss In the raid. This does nothing but essentially mean that if you're new, you're going to die. A LOT. It's just numbers. The more encounters the more likely you're going to mess up once in each boss fight. And as I said earlier, messing up equals death.

    3) One of the bosses is straight up 4 bosses in one.

Rewards? Not worth it. 20 Silver coins and a few Fragments.

No clusters, no lockboxes, NOT EVEN A SINGLE MEMORY. There should be 2-6 memories per run, especially when you NEED 45 per relic.

Essentially: Put me in the group who did it once, and I am NEVER going in again. Just like Castrum Litore. It's not worth it.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

It's particularly frustrating when playing as a tank or healer since that's usually where the blame falls if something goes wrong...

To my lack of surprise, many groups seem to lack tanks and healers. So much so that I haven't been able to finish a run yet.

Every TWO mechanics failed equals death. You're basically allowed to screw up once. IMO it shouldn't be a thing except for the boss at the end, and Savage. Makes it really hard to learn anything as is.
