Has there been any announcement of the Valentione's Day event?

Limsa gets Valentione decorations, not the cherry trees. I was looking forward to those.

And the rewards are looking very lacklustre considering that it's two events in one and they're just recycling models. The only thing maybe-new is the heart.

I'll give them slack with the pandemic but I hope they pick back up again and don't stick to this level permanently.

I dont think this is (only) related to the pandemic - at least I noticed a certain trend with the seasonal events and their rewards: Events that are closer to the release of a new expansion seem to be lacking - which would make sense if we assume that they're busy working on a new expansion. In years without expansion we get more complex events and rewards - so I'd expect the next run of them to be "better".

Ive noticed that trend too! It does say rewards from previous events will be avaliable tho, I hope that the dress outfit from valentines event last year is avaliable

Most events say that but it usually just means consumables like fireworks or confetti, the big stuff like outfits go on Mogstation.

Hmm. I'm not normally one to complain about holiday events, but this feels extremely lacking. Last year's V Day event was a mess for a completely different reason, but at least we got some decent stuff out of it.

Valentione's Day has run from the last week of January until just after Valentine's Day in the past, with the announcement posted one week prior to the event start.

We're already into February with no announcement. It's understandable that people would be curious since we haven't heard anything at all.
