Looking at the server merge outburst, it demonstrates that we have difficulty choosing for ourselves. Like physical levels, it was just too much.

I do agree that the internet as a whole significantly cut back on the personal attacks.

Not really. I want to be able to choose whether to move or not. Yet I am forced to move servers and am also forced to lose any friends that are currently on a break.

That's what most people dislike about the merge imho. Not the fact we have to make a decision. If you look at the worlds forums and not the general trolling section, then you'll see that most servers have already decided where to go in case we won't get plan2.
