    Which world would you pick.

Now we all know how SE has this great ability to make unique story lines for each of there game and XIV is no exception. I thought a good discussion would be to talk about different FF worlds.

What FF world you you like to make into an MMO?

This is not to rag on FFXIV but just to see what you think.

FF12 / FF Tactics. Ivalice. Alot of cities and side areas that would make a nice MMO. FF12 was almost like an offline MMO anyways.

I do like Ivalice. I think it has the next richest lore overall, albeit possibly conflicting presentations due to cameos and themes. Agreed on FF12 being like an offline MMO. The characters didn't have a very strong feel save maybe three of them.

Being in Ivalice, I was kinda hoping it would have a more interracial cast instead of hume and viera, but bangaa, moogle, nu mou, seeq, gria, etc.

    Ivalice conflicts:

    Final Fantasy Tactics
    Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
    Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2
    Final Fantasy 12
    Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings
    Vagrant Story
    Crystal Defenders

FFIV holds the most nostalgia for me. But when I think about the plot (no spoilers from me) and it's presentation, I feel like... it's mostly the nostalgia holding everything together for me.

(mostly have been thinking about the worlds from a table-top gaming perspective)

*description of kingdoms below* (I don't know how to do a hidden box/spoilers thing... sorry...)

Baron, militaristic kingdom with air superiority, an arrangement of mages, dragoons, engineers, and a dark knight at the helm.
Damcyan, sand kingdom with access to hovercrafts.
Fabul, Monk-themed kingdom that trains on the mountains to the west.
Mysidia, a nation of mages with access to teleportation and a large knowledge base for surface dwellers and non-Lunarians.
Toroia, a queendom with heavy emphasis on beautiful female military in forested lands.
Eblan, a kingdom that employs Ninjas?!
Dwarf Kingdom, silly dwarves need to be hugged and eaten... maybe exploded.

And several villages here and there, surface dwelling summoners, underground summoners with the espers | eidolons, a moon palace for slumbering lunarians, a village with minis, frogs, and pigs, a village dedicated to silverworking, and a desert village.

Oh it did work!!! Crazy Preview wouldn't let me see it working! GRRR!!

    But now I know...
And knowing is half the battle.
    G.I. JOE!!!!

Yes the chars were quite boring in this game and the story a bit confusing. But the gameplay and areas were pretty good.
