-GNB mass pulled the first group and the WHM Bene'd himself right when you grab the first trash pack. No clue as to why he did. We wiped twice on this pull because the healer was slow on the uptake.

While the rest of the post makes me turn into a human representation of the "grimacing blob" emoji in sympathetic frustration, this one could genuinely just be an accident. I've sometimes held a modifier key a moment longer than I meant to while weaving madly, and try to use an ability that is on an unmodified key... only to get what's on the modified key; meaning to do '0' and getting 'Control+0' for instance. So I can easily imagine someone less experienced hitting, say, '0' on their hotbar but not realizing they still had Control held down or whatever; if they did it only once, I could write that off as just a whups rather than an intentional-but-bewildering cast.

(Mind you, given the rest of the post, I could also take it as an intentional-but-bewildering cast in this case...)

not even necessarily "less experienced". remember, we've had among world prog this expansion: a highly experienced melee rip LB off his bar instead of clicking it in 4s and a team lose an 11s kill to the instance timer running out at 0.1%.

The south west section (on the left side when you enter the boss arena) is basically a "safe spot" for the Heretic Fork ability. You only have move a little bit in order to dodge the first few AoE's. After that, you can just stand still. Especially easy for Ranged jobs.

Soooo apparently us healers are supposed to healbot everything for undergeared and egotistical tanks again.

Queue into leveling roulette, I get Toto-Rak. I sigh and check the party out of force of habit, and realize we have a MRD and ARC in the group. I check the tank and see not only are they wearing lvl 15 gear, but are missing some accessories. That's fine, I've dealt with that before.

They decided to mass pull stuff at the start and nearly die because LoS is still a thing. I end up having to curebot them through it, and politely asked them if they would at least use a defensive cooldown on mass pulls, as it will make my life easier. Silence. Okay, I can deal with that. People usually don't read chat. The rest of the dungeon goes about as well as someone who is rather squishy, even though some tank gear dropped and they actually put it on. The DRG still had more hp than him at the end however. Most of the dungeon I end up having to curebot his yoyoing hp, and tried to slip in some dots and stones here and there to help kill things.

We get to the last boss and they immediately make a mad dash for the poison pods on the other side of the room like a child addicted to Pez and they had gone dry for a week. Three stacks of poison really do chew through paper tanks, so more curebotting and esuna! Yay...we eventually down the boss with me flip-flopping between curing their squishy self, throwing in some dots and dps, and keeping the other two alive.

To be fair, some people are comfortable doing a combination of hitting keybinds and clicking skills since not everyone has a gaming mouse with 16 side buttons, world firsters are on a skill level pretty far above the average savage raider and if what they do works, then it just works

To be fair, some people are comfortable doing a combination of hitting keybinds and clicking skills since not everyone has a gaming mouse with 16 side buttons, world firsters are on a skill level pretty far above the average savage raider and if what they do works, then it just works

you can lock the hotbar, little icon to the side of hit, so that you can't drag the skill off the hotbar (or put new ones on I think) and would make clicking your skills safer. I do it for some of the odd CD skills like DNC's Shield Samba.
