Teleport house combo?

so what is the best house/FC/apartment combo for teleports?

As in... you're planning on TPing in cheap and from there TPing to where you actually wanna go?
Like having a house in the Shirogane so you can go there first and then to anywhere in the far east?
Don't bother.
I played around with it for awhile and realized the price of two cheap teleports will always be higher than just TPing straight where you wanted to go in the first place.

It's still cheaper to TP to an apartment in Shiro then to a different TP in Othard than go direct. But it doesn't save you on any of the other teleports you take while in Othard. It only saves you when you TP back to Eorzea (and again doesn't save you anything once you're there and TPing to other places).

Getting that 250-350 gil savings once or twice per log in period definitely is not worth it. You'd have to do it over 1400 times before you recovered the cost of an apartment.

Maybe I'm just dumb, but I just did some TP comparisons in game (rip my gil) and couldn't find a place where TPing into my Shirogane house first and to my primary destination second actually saved money.
