Iventory/Glamour/Armory System needs an overhaul/rework

So, I finished the quests and the msq with my Tank main , thought I would spice it up with a Healer to level up. I love to have a Avatar that looks nice and has decent glamours, but this game is so disturbingly restrictive in this matter.
Honestly, if there would be a System to collect Glams similar to *heretical voice*:”the transmog system in wow” , even If Yoshi p told the people themselves he took some ideas from wow, because they are industry standards at this point, I would farm the Hell out of all the given Content , just to get all glams for all job ready. Not because if would like the jobs , but because I would be curious how things would look alike and what nice Fashion my char could wear.
But at the moment it feels more like, what the people told me back then ”Don´t even try to glam, you will get angry” and yes that is true.
Glamourplates and the amount of them are a joke to People that love to play around with it. To go into detail: How many Jobs are currently available? How many different Glams are available for each Job?

-Housing items and Housing? I am not going into Detail with this can of worms, because the War of Housing and the things people do to be a part of that in this game is ludicrous. (but the point still stands , the housing items are still somewhere in my inventory and there is no “housingbag” or a “bank” , just your retainer/saddlebag/standard inventory) -I loved and enjoyed Housing in Wildstar, because it was easy and accessible for everyone, but in ff14 you have to literally wage war against People to get a House(or more).

-Gathering and Crafting items, I leveled up Culinarian and Fisher, and I was short on inventory place most of the time , but it must be literal Hell for People that are doing job to make things that don´t stack to the size of 999.

-Forcing People to get more Retainers , yes I heared from every real “Crafter” that they have maxed out the Count of the monthly rentable Retainers. (Getting vibes from 1.0 when they thought they could get away with it).Corporate Greed is one thing, Corporate Pride another , but trying to simply bleed the loyal community out of their money, because they are still Fans of the Franchise. Is for me just an Insult.

-Don´t “make the problem/accept the problem and sell the Solution” (as shown in the example with the Retainers , “if” this is the Solution , then it is the worst possible existent one, that is still extremely timeconsuming , inconvenient and wastes players time)


I really do like this game ,as most of the players of this game I also am passionate about it and want it to grow and be successfull but yeah it´s 2021 and the globe is spinning and doesn´t stand still, Progress in terms of Design, looks different.

Please , let us enjoy, farm and glam our gear for each different job. This is a Time i would like to spend in the game , instead of using (like some people) Excelsheets to organize the Retainer Iventory and playing Warehouse Simulator.
